This is a space for thinking outside the box.

It asks for its visitors to explore.

The intention was to create a space for all who enjoy the arts to collect and share their passions while learning from one another. The second story theater’s patio glows like a light, a hidden gem to seek. The building begs you to take a peak around each corner and discover. The exterior is a framed rammed earth, utilizing the richness of color in Oklahoma’s earth and giving the building a clear since of its location. This is taken further with its use of native Oklahoma plants in the courtyard, helping to reduce it’s utility needs by lessening water usage and promoting native ecology. The organization of spaces was very deliberate in creating public and private zones. Guests are encouraged to wonder and discover the arts created within, without having access to the private ‘back of house’ areas. It is a reminder for all visitors of the beauty Oklahoma has to offer, rich in its texture, color, and its substance within.
