About ME

WHY ARCHITECTURE

My path into architecture has been anything but conventional. After several years in real estate management, I felt a growing pull to engage more meaningfully with the environments we inhabit. That curiosity turned into commitment after a single video on earthship biotecture sent me down an inspiring rabbit hole. The idea of designing buildings that work with their surroundings, not against them, sparked a lasting passion for architecture and sustainable design.

I returned to school with a focus on sustainable design, deepening my interest in responsive systems, environmental performance, and the complexities of site-driven architecture. I’m especially drawn to projects that require thoughtful site planning, where topography, climate, circulation, and context shape the design from the ground up. I enjoy untangling these layered conditions and translating them into spaces that are both functional and expressive.

My approach prioritizes innovative systems and holistic thinking, aiming to strengthen the relationship between built form and natural environment. I believe great architecture emerges when design responds intelligently to its context, resulting in spaces that feel grounded, resilient, and inspiring.

Outside of design, I’m most at home with my family, my animals, and the natural world. These influences continually ground my work, reinforcing the importance of balance, adaptability, and harmony, both in life and in architecture.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to connecting and exploring how we can create thoughtful, meaningful spaces together.
